Miley Cyrus, Raye, and Charlie Puth Lead This Week's Music Releases!
In 2017, Miley Cyrus released her 'Younger Now' album. In 2023, she shared the introspective single 'Used To Be Young'. Now, she presents 'Younger You', an emotional reflection that closes her 'Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special'. The song, which moved the audience at its premiere, blends Cyrus' roots with her pop sensibility.

The lyrics include phrases like: 'Somewhere along the way, we lost touch/ We used to be so happy just because' and 'I know your story isn't done, but do you love who you've become?'. It's a reminder to call mom and dad, but above all, not to forget the younger versions of ourselves. Miley wrote on Instagram: 'This song is yours as a thank you for the life we've built together'.
After releasing singles that showcase her versatility, such as 'Where Is My Husband!' and the ballad 'Nightingale Lane', Raye presents her second album, 'This Music May Contain Hope'. The project exposes inner pain and treats it with Raye's voice. The six-plus minute song 'I Know You’re Hurting' is an example of this balance.

Raye shared in a press release: 'Music is medicine, I've always said that... I wanted to create something that is a hug, a bed or a soft place for that person who needs it'.
Charlie Puth's fourth album delves into soul and jazz, with notable collaborations. Among them, Kenny G ('Cry'), Coco Jones ('Sideways'), Michael McDonald with Kenny Loggins ('Love In Exile') and Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra ('Until It Happens To You'). The latter stands out for Goldblum's contributions.

Goldblum offers advice to Puth as a husband and father: 'And you know, until it happens to you/ Where you lose something, oh my golly/ That's why you wanna be sweet to each other'. Then, he shares his most important advice: 'If I could tell you one thing/ Well, don't miss a second of it'.
Conan Gray will release a deluxe edition of his fourth album 'Wishbone' on April 24, led by the new single 'The Best'. The pop ballad explores longing and indifference, singing about an end he'd like to rewrite.

Gray shares: 'I swear if I saw you tonight/ We could make peace with it, not have to sleep with it... Finally wish you the best'.
Pop artist Melanie Martinez presents her fourth album 'HADES', anticipated by singles like 'Posession' and 'Disney Princess'. The 18-track project, lasting just over an hour, immerses listeners in a dystopian world.

In 'Uncanny Valley', she sings about 'scrolling through a mess in my mind'. Then, she asserts: 'Trends, they come and go/ But humans have their flaws/ Beauty comes in every form/ Baby, there ain't no norm'.
