L3Harris Technologies and RFTEQ have formalized a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on strengthening electronic warfare (EW) capabilities for the Australian Defence Organisation (ADO). This cooperation aims to boost Australia's domestic security and industrial base, combining intergovernmental entities with domestic commercial partners. The collaboration will allow L3Harris to contribute its expertise in design, integration, and manufacturing of electromagnetic tools, as well as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems.
The work will be integrated with RFTEQ's existing advanced radio frequency portfolio, which includes base modules and custom solutions, microwave technologies, and test and measurement equipment. This strategic partnership supports Canberra's goal of establishing self-reliance in defense technology and reinforcing its posture to respond to modern global threats. The initiative seeks to strengthen local industry capability and support the development of innovative solutions aligned with Australia's evolving mission needs.
