Netflix's 'Kennedy' Series Unveils First Look! Michael Fassbender & More Join Cast
The streaming platform has shared an image of Michael Fassbender playing Joe Kennedy Sr. in the 'Kennedy' series.

The series, based on the book 'JFK: Coming of Age in the American Century, 1917-1956' by Fredrik Logevall, promises to reveal the intimate lives, loves, rivalries, and tragedies that shaped the most iconic dynasty in modern history.

The first season, consisting of eight episodes, will begin in the 1930s and chronicle the rise of Joe and Rose Kennedy and their nine children, including Jack Kennedy.
In addition to Fassbender, Laura Donnelly as Rose Kennedy, Nick Robinson as Joe Kennedy Jr., Joshuah Melnick as Jack Kennedy, Lydia Peckham as Rosemary Kennedy, and Saura Lightfoot-Leon as Kick Kennedy were previously announced.

New cast members include Georgina Bitmead as Eunice Kennedy and Miley Locke as younger Kick Kennedy.

Tipper Seifert-Cleveland will play younger Rosemary Kennedy, Hera Hilmar will play Inga Arvad, Wyatt Russell will play Charles Lindbergh, and Patrick Fischler will play Arthur Krock.
Caitlin FitzGerald will play Clare Boothe Luce, Louis Landau will play Billy Cavendish, Robin Soans will play Neville Chamberlain, and Denis O’Hare will play Raymond Furness.

Albert Welling will play Winston Churchill, Toby Huss will play Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Eddie Marsan will play J. Edgar Hoover.

Production of the first season is already underway in London.
The 'Kennedy' series is based on Fredrik Logevall's book and explores the lives, loves, rivalries, and tragedies that shaped the most iconic dynasty in modern history.

The production, which has begun in London, features Sam Shaw as showrunner and executive producer along with Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Kaitlin Dahill, Eric Roth, Logevall, Lila Byock, Anya Epstein, Dustin Thomason, director Thomas Vinterberg, and Anna O’Malley.

The series promises to be an intimate and revealing portrait of one of the most influential families of the 20th century.
The 'Kennedy' series is produced by Chernin Entertainment.

Sam Shaw is the showrunner and executive producer.

The series will premiere on Netflix.
