The premiere is scheduled for April 8, as revealed by the network on Wednesday, along with the release of the series' trailer. This acquisition reinforces Channel 4's commitment to offering high-quality international drama to its audience.

Polly Scates, Head of Acquisitions at Channel 4, expressed her enthusiasm for the addition of 'The Copenhagen Test,' highlighting its stellar cast and intriguing plot that promises to keep the audience hooked from the start. The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.

The series follows Alexander Hale (played by Simu Liu), a first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst who discovers that his brain has been hacked. This allows the perpetrators to access everything he sees and hears. Caught between his agency and the hackers, Alexander must maintain a constant performance to uncover those responsible and prove his loyalty.

Liu is known for his roles in Marvel's 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' and Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie'. The series promises a plot full of suspense and action.

In addition to Simu Liu and Melissa Barrera, 'The Copenhagen Test' features a cast that includes Sinclair Daniel, Brian d'Arcy James, Mark O'Brien, and Kathleen Chalfant. The series is a 'Peacock Original,' indicating its origin on the Peacock streaming platform.

Thomas Brandon is the creator, executive producer, writer, and co-showrunner of the series. Jennifer Yale is also co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer. James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett of Atomic Monster are also listed as executive producers, along with Simu Liu, Mark Winemaker, and Jet Wilkinson.
