Warframe's 'Shadowgrapher' Update Unleashed: New Warframe & Mode!

Digital Extremes has released Update 42 for Warframe, titled 'The Shadowgrapher'. This update includes a new Warframe named Follie, a new game mode, and much more content. Console players will see the update as Warframe 2.48/1.056 (complete version 1.056.000).

The download size varies by platform: 2.95 GB for XB1, 3.0 GB for XSS, 4.2 GB for XSX, approximately 2.39 GB for PC DirectX 11, approximately 3.04 GB for PC DirectX 12, 5.73 GB for PS4, and 5.16 GB for PS5. Prepare for a substantial download across all platforms.

In the new 'Follie’s Hunt' game mode, players will face Follie, the Shadowgrapher, in the ruins of the Vesper Relay, which was accessible until 2014 when it was destroyed by Councilor Vay Hek. The goal is to complete three Shadowgraphs to extract safely and earn rewards.

To access, players must complete the 'Chains of Harrow' quest. Once done, a new node on the Vesper Relay on Venus will appear for playing 'Follie’s Hunt'.

To complete the Shadowgraphs, players must find Paint pools, which are indicated by a special icon. Upon approaching a pool, the player will transform into their Operator or Drifter and be covered in Paint, which disables certain abilities. Players must deliver the Paint to the Shadowgraphs while avoiding Follie, an invincible enemy.

Follie possesses abilities that damage and drain energy. As the mission progresses, Follie introduces modifiers such as Polyopia, Sticky Ink, Splattering Touch, among others, to hinder progress.

Completing 'Follie’s Hunt' guarantees rewards like Atramentum, a new resource, and Steel Essence on Steel Path. There's also a chance to earn Blueprints for Follie and Enkaus, as well as Faction Syndicate Medallions. Atramentum can be traded in Relays with Aspirant Zorba for various items, including cosmetic Atragraph Mods.

The new resource, Atramentum, allows you to reveal hidden truths and can be acquired by completing Follie’s Hunt missions, destroying Atramentum Balloons, and killing enemies.

The update introduces Follie, the Shadowgrapher, with abilities including Inkblot and Plein Air. A new rifle, Enkaus, and new adversary weapons like the Kuva Ghoulsaw and Tenet Quanta are also added. Additionally, 44 new Honoria have been added, including Faction Syndicate Honoria, Mastery Rank, and Warframe-Inspired, as well as new cosmetics.

10 new Operator and Drifter faces, two new eyebrow styles, and seven new complexions have been added, among other customization improvements.
