The young tennis player was scheduled to represent Canada in the competition but will have to undergo surgery to remove her four wisdom teeth.

Mboko holds a perfect 5-0 record in the Billie Jean King Cup, underscoring her importance to the team.

Ariana Arseneault has been called up to replace Mboko in the Canadian team. Arseneault, currently ranked 453rd in the WTA singles rankings, will make her first appearance at the event. Mboko's absence poses a challenge for Canada, which will face a weakened Kazakhstan team.

The Kazakh team will also be without Elena Rybakina, the Australian Open champion. The event will take place at the Beeline Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan, between Friday, April 10th and Saturday, April 11th.
