Four-time IndyCar champion Alex Palou has made Barber Motorsports Park his personal playground, leaving his competitors without answers. From pole to checkered flag, Palou delivered a masterclass at the Alabama Grand Prix. He led 79 of the 90 laps, extending his lead to 13 seconds by the finish.
While not flawless, and tire wear briefly gave his rivals hope, Palou, of Chip Ganassi Racing and the reigning champion, simply disappeared up the road. "Incredible day," Palou said. "I told you qualifying was one of the best car balances I've ever driven... Another win here. Love this place, love the fans. What a great day!"
