Buc-ee's, the popular chain of service stations, is on the verge of opening its doors in new locations, solidifying its expansion across the United States. The first opening, in Huber Heights, Ohio, is scheduled for April 6, surpassing initial expectations.

Following Ohio, the chain plans to inaugurate its first station in Arizona, specifically in Goodyear, on June 22. Additionally, the opening of a store in San Marcos, Texas, is expected on July 27. The location in Benton, Arkansas, could be ready for August or September, according to official statements.

Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is expected to open its fourth Buc-ee's location later this year. The expansion continues with plans to open a station in Monroe County, Georgia, in March 2027, with a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for April 7, 2026.

The first location in Wisconsin, in Oak Creek, is also on track to open in April 2027, while Ruston, Louisiana, is aiming for mid-2027 and Gallaway, Tennessee, hopes to open in August 2027. The location in Mebane, North Carolina, is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Other Buc-ee's locations working towards 2027 openings include Kansas City, Kansas; Lafayette, Louisiana; and St. Lucie and Tallahassee, Florida. However, the opening in Oak Grove, Kentucky, has been delayed and is now expected for 2027 or later due to construction delays. The location in Ocala, Florida, is planned for 2028.

Two locations in Arkansas have experienced delays, with Fayette County targeting May 2027, nearly a year later than originally planned, and West Memphis delayed until June 2028. In addition, a second Ohio location could be in development in Mansfield, about 130 miles northeast of Huber Heights.

Buc-ee's has made concessions on its proposed location in Boerne, Texas, and is still in the construction process. The first location in Virginia, originally scheduled for 2027 in New Kent County, has been delayed until December 2031 due to nearby road construction. The opening in Hardeeville, South Carolina, could occur in the same year. Buc-ee's is also considering a location in Gretna, Nebraska, and is still working to establish itself in Stafford, Virginia, where residents have expressed concerns.

After public controversies and legal challenges, Buc-ee's withdrew its plans for a station in Palmer Lake, Colorado. Possible locations in Oklahoma City were also discussed, but the company did not comment. Buc-ee's estimates that it takes between 18 and 24 months to build a service station once construction begins.
