Lord Charles Brocket, 74, famous for his stint on the reality show 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' in 2004, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape, two of sexual assault, and one count of sexual activity without consent. The charges relate to an incident involving the same victim and allegedly took place in London on August 10, 2025. Brocket, whose full name is Charles Nall-Cain Brocket, appeared before Isleworth Crown Court to formalize his plea.

During the hearing, Brocket only confirmed his name and date of birth, flatly denying all accusations made against him. The trial has been set for November 1, 2027, with a pre-trial review expected on October 7 next year. Brocket has been conditionally bailed until then.
Initially, Lord Brocket was charged with sexual assault by penetration in Warbleton, East Sussex, but this charge was previously dropped. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the alleged victim is receiving support from specialist officers. The police force issued a statement detailing Brocket's arrest on August 29 and his indictment on August 30 last year.

The statement specified that the rape charges relate to an incident involving a woman in the early hours of August 10 in Fulham, and that the matter was reported to the police the same day. Brocket's defense, led by his lawyer Henry Milner, has strongly denied all allegations since the beginning of the case seven months ago.
Before his foray into reality television, Lord Brocket was known in the 1980s as a playboy and for his impressive collection of classic cars, which at one time included 42 Ferraris. His participation in 'I'm A Celebrity' in 2004, alongside figures such as Peter Andre and Jennie Bond, significantly boosted his popularity.

Following his time on the show, Brocket published his autobiography, 'Call Me Charlie', which became a bestseller. In addition, he hosted two shows on ITV: the contest 'Scream! If You Want to Get Off' and 'Privates Exposed', a behind-the-scenes program of the reality show 'Lads Army'. These projects further consolidated his presence in the British media.
Lord Brocket's defense continues to deny all allegations, preparing its strategy for the trial to be held in November 2027. The pre-trial review in October will be crucial in establishing the parameters and evidence to be presented during the process.

Media attention on the case remains high, given Brocket's notoriety and the seriousness of the charges. The outcome of the trial will have a significant impact on his reputation and future.
Meanwhile, the alleged victim is receiving specialized support from the authorities, ensuring her well-being and safety during this difficult legal process. The Metropolitan Police has reiterated its commitment to providing the necessary support to the victim throughout the investigation and trial.

Lord Brocket's case underscores the importance of addressing allegations of sexual assault with seriousness and respect for all parties involved, ensuring a fair and transparent judicial process.
