Military Probe Launched After Kid Rock Posts Helicopter Videos Over His Mansion

These videos show AH-64 Apache attack helicopters flying over his property in Nashville. The situation arose after Rock criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom in his posts. The investigation focuses on the circumstances surrounding the presence of the helicopters near the singer's residence.

The incident occurred amidst the 'No Kings' protests, and according to reports, the helicopters were not authorized to operate in the Nashville area. In one of the videos, a helicopter is seen hovering very close to Kid Rock's house, which led the Army to initiate an administrative review. Major Jonathon Bless, the public affairs officer for the 101st Airborne Division, confirmed that the incident is being investigated.

Initially, it was reported that the Army had ordered an investigation, but it was later clarified that it was an administrative review. Army officials cited strict regulations and public safety as the main reasons for this review. Major Bless indicated that the leaders involved are determining the reason for the flyby at Kid Rock's mansion. The video posted by Kid Rock shows the singer next to a miniature version of the Statue of Liberty, saluting the helicopters. In the caption of the post, Kid Rock suggested that the helicopters respected him more than Gavin Newsom, which provoked reactions on social media.
