BTS's '2.0' Rocks 'Fallon': Relive the Electrifying Performance and Gear Up for the World Tour
BTS showcased their versatility by performing twice on 'The Tonight Show'. In addition to an interview and the performance of 'Swim', the group offered an energetic version of '2.0'. The band, composed of seven members, sang and danced at the Guggenheim Museum, with fans watching from the upper levels. RM, who was recovering from an ankle injury sustained during rehearsals for the group's recent comeback concert, remained seated on a stool for much of the performance.

This appearance was a clear example of the band's global impact and their ability to connect with the audience through their music and energy on stage. The choice of '2.0' as the second song highlighted BTS's artistic evolution.
BTS's new album, 'Arirang', is the group's first full-length album since 2022. For the creation of this album, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook moved to Los Angeles, where they lived together in a house for two months. This experience marked the first time all seven members had lived in the same place since 2019. The dedication and effort invested in 'Arirang' reflect BTS's commitment to their art and their fans.

The album includes a variety of emotions, from joy to sadness, resonating with the rich Korean musical tradition and seeking a universality that transcends borders.
RM explained to Fallon that the title 'Arirang' comes from the name of a popular Korean folk song. According to RM, this song represents Koreans, including a wide range of emotions: joy, sadness, longing, and resistance. The group hopes that their new songs will be universal, like 'arirang', the traditional Korean song. This connection to Korean culture demonstrates BTS's desire to honor their roots and share their musical heritage with the world.

The choice of the title 'Arirang' reflects BTS's intention to create music that resonates with people around the world, encompassing a wide range of human feelings and experiences.
V explained that the song '2.0' is about 'who we are today after our solo journey'. He added that the song conveys confidence. This statement underlines the evolution of BTS as artists and their individual growth, which merge to create an even richer and more meaningful musical experience. '2.0' is a reflection of the group's artistic maturity and their ability to reinvent themselves and connect with their audience in a new and exciting way.

The song is a sample of the group's confidence and their willingness to explore new musical directions, always maintaining their essence and connection with their fans.
A documentary, 'BTS: The Return', premiered on Netflix, offering a behind-the-scenes look at BTS's free concert in Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square. The group will begin an 82-date world tour on April 9, which will run through March of next year. In addition, screenings of two concerts, titled 'BTS World Tour “Arirang” Live Viewing', will take place on April 11 (Goyang, South Korea) and April 18 (Tokyo).

The world tour and the documentary are a testament to the continued success and global influence of BTS, which continues to captivate audiences around the world with its music, performances, and message of unity and hope.
