RAYE Returns With 'This Music May Contain Hope': A New Musical Chapter After Unprecedented Success
London-born artist RAYE, a former BRIT School student and nominee for the BBC Music Sound award, once again demonstrates her ability to connect with the audience. After an agreement with Polydor, which proved to be a frustrating stage, RAYE decided to take control of her career. In 2021, through a tweet, she revealed that the record label would not allow her to release an album, which led her to make a crucial decision: independence.

RAYE parted ways with the record company and joined Human Re Sources, a distribution and artist services company, a relationship that continues to this day. This change marked the beginning of a new era for the singer and songwriter, which would lead her to achieve success and international recognition.
In January 2023, RAYE landed her first U.K. No. 1 single with 'Escapism' (featuring 070 Shake), marking the beginning of a golden age. In March 2024, she made history by winning six BRIT Awards, including album of the year and artist of the year, surpassing the previous record of four awards in one night, shared by Harry Styles (2023), Adele (2016) and Blur (1995).

In January 2026, she nabbed her second U.K. No. 1 with 'Where Is My Husband?', which peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, being the best position of her three titles on the chart. These achievements consolidate her position as one of the most important artists of today.
RAYE presents 'This Music May Contain Hope', her second album and successor to 'My 21st Century Blues', which reached number 2 in the UK three years ago. The album, which consists of 17 tracks, includes 'Where Is My Husband', which she performed at the 2026 HeartRadio Music Awards. This musical work represents four distinct chapters in a 'sonic journey that moves from darkness to light', according to a statement.

The production and collaboration on this album is top-notch, with names like Hans Zimmer, Al Green, the London Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Tom Richards), Flames Collective Choir, and her sisters Amma and Absolutely, along with co-productions from Mike Sabath, Tom Richards, Chris Hill, Pete Clements, Jordan Riley and Punctual.
RAYE explains that 'music is medicine, I've always said that'. She claims she is creating 'medicine' to share with the world, seeking to inspire hope and faith in her followers. Her goal is to create a 'hug, a bed or a soft place' for those who need it.

With this album, RAYE seeks to offer a space of comfort and optimism, reinforcing her connection with the public and her ability to transmit emotions through her music.
RAYE will promote her new album with a sold-out North American tour, starting March 31 at Channel 24 in Sacramento, CA. After a 51-date tour of the UK and Europe, she has additional dates scheduled in her home country for May and at British festivals in August. She will also join Bruno Mars as a special guest on The Romantic Tour of North America this summer, participating in 26 stadium concerts.

The artist continues to consolidate her presence in the music industry, taking her music to a global audience and establishing new connections with her followers.
