Outlast Trials: Urgent Patch Fixes Glitches and Enhances Experience!

Red Barrels has released Hotfix 1 for The Outlast Trials, following the recent 'Project Judas' update. This update, identified as 1.53/1.000.051 on consoles, is a small download across all platforms. The patch addresses gameplay-related issues and improves the overall gaming experience. The community has responded positively to the developers' quick response to the inconveniences that arose after the main update.

Hotfix 1 fixes several important issues. An issue where the Berserker could spawn under the map in certain situations was fixed. Also, a problem with barricades that could permanently block doorways if their deployment was interrupted was solved. The barricade interruption cooldown was adjusted, now set at 3 seconds instead of 10. Additionally, issues with the behavior of barricades with the limited rig variator were corrected.

Other fixes include correcting the X-ray cooldown in Psychosurgery difficulty and the visibility of parts of the Deluxe outfits in first person.

An issue that prevented the healing rig from being consumed when swapped with another rig in use (salvage rigs variator) was fixed. Red Barrels also addressed community concerns following the launch of 'Project Judas'. The tinnitus filter in the player settings has been adjusted, inviting players to customize it. The [REDACTED] Trial will remain in Genesis indefinitely.

To facilitate the start of the Reagents' therapy, Invasions will not occur in the new Trials: 'Silence the Idol', 'Solve the Murder', 'REDACTED'. Invasions will be reactivated in these trials in the future.
