Marvel Rivals Update Unleashed: New Content, Events, and Gameplay Tweaks!

NetEase released the balance patch for Marvel Rivals today, March 26, the 1.40/1.000.077 update for consoles and PC. Console gamers will see this download as a small update. For PC, the patch introduces sharing functionality on YouTube, X (Twitter), and Facebook. The update includes new in-store items, a special event for April Fool's Day, and adjustments to the game's balance.

The update offers new appearances in the store, including the Daring Duo bundle, the Daring Duo emoji bundle, the Brett Hendrick: The Star emoji bundle, Darkened Day & Twisted Thorns costume chromas, and the Captain America ultimate ability VFX. Players can also enjoy the Deadpool & Jeff the Land Shark – Boogie Time! emote from April 1st to May 1st, 2026. Furthermore, the Captain America – Brett Hendrick: The Star bundle will be available from March 27th to April 24th, 2026.

IGNITE 2026 Esports exclusive costumes are now live. 12 team bundles have been launched, allowing players to support their favorite teams, including 100 Thieves, FlyQuest, Liquid Citadel, NRG Shock, Sentinels, Spacestation Gaming, TSM, NAVI, Team Heretics, Virtus.pro, Gen.G, and REJECT. The bundles were available from March 27, 2026.

The Marvel Rivals update includes a 3-day limited-time event to celebrate April Fool's Day. Players can get the Jeff the Land Shark – Jeff Rodeo emote and its title for FREE upon logging in. After the giveaway period, the Jeff Rodeo emote will be available for purchase in the store.

The Flight Mode! World Tour Merch Vol.2 event is underway, allowing players to complete missions to earn Namor's Sea Samba costume and related content for FREE. Other rewards include Magik's Infernal Idol costume and Star-Lord's Groovy Guardian costume.

With the arrival of Flight Mode! World Tour Merch Vol.2, three new lead dancers: Magik, Star-Lord, and Namor, will make a dazzling appearance in their new costumes at the underground disco in Times Square.

Deadpool received a slight reduction in mobility, limiting his most extreme acrobatics. Elsa Bloodstone suffered a decrease in base health from 275 to 250. White Fox received improvements, including obtaining Spirit Tail energy upon respawning or exiting Kumiho Unleashed, a new healing effect for Spectral Surge, and adjustments to Spirit Sanctuary and Blessed by the Nine.

The update also added PC sharing functionality for YouTube, X, and Facebook.

The Marvel Rivals developers have worked to adjust the balance of characters, with the aim of optimizing the gameplay experience. The changes to Deadpool seek to limit the burst potential of extreme maneuvers, while the adjustments to Elsa Bloodstone and White Fox seek to balance their durability and support abilities.
