The design duo Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode from HYKE present their Fall/Winter 2026 collection, a sleek and chic offering inspired by the aesthetics of vintage uniforms and workwear. The collection reinterprets archival utilitarian codes with exaggerated proportions, cropped lengths, and sharp tailoring that exudes modernity.

The overarching mood balances utilitarian rigor with feminine refinement, resulting in a range that feels both disciplined and experimental. Key pieces in the collection anchor its utilitarian yet refined spirit, featuring overcoats inspired by vintage Desert Storm coats and flight jackets such as the A-2 and the CWU-45/P.

A significant highlight of the season is the new collaboration with the American brand Eddie Bauer, which introduces iconic down-filled styles, including the Skyliner Jacket, Kara Koram Parka, and Canadian Vest. Tailoring remains a focal point, characterized by elongated jackets with meticulous pick-stitching and boxy, cropped button-down shirts paired with either lean pencil skirts or extra-wide trousers that pool at the feet.

Texture is added through black and white Nordic sweaters embellished with loopy fringe and sheer ruffled trims, while detachable functional liners emphasize the brand’s focus on reversible versatility.
