The 'Shakira Stadium', designed under the concept 'Es Latina', promises an experience that goes beyond music, including recreation areas, art, gastronomy, and other cultural experiences. Architect Agustín Pérez Torres, responsible for the design, highlighted that the venue is more than a stadium; it is a city. The assembly, which will be completed in a matter of weeks, will include the construction of outdoor spaces and routes for the public. The Macondo Park, a 15-hectare space, will be active before, during, and after each concert, offering live music, art, gastronomy, and other cultural activities. Within this park, Macondito will be integrated, an area designed for children, conceived together with Shakira's children, Milan and Sasha.
The residency in Madrid seeks to be a meeting point for artists and creators from Latin America and Europe, with a program that will combine music, cinema, fashion, and contemporary art. The complete program will be announced in July, and Shakira plans to invite friends and collaborators, with surprises throughout the eleven nights. Part of these participations will take place on a second stage within the venue, which will also give space to new talents.
