Exclusive: Seia - Miami's New Private Club Merging Art, Gastronomy, and Global Elite

The private club Seia, founded by Vlad Doronin, owner of Aman Resorts and chairman of OKO Group, has opened its doors in Brickell, Miami's financial district. This new luxury space is designed to cater to the cultural needs of a global elite. The club offers a unique combination of contemporary art, haute cuisine, and exclusive events, promising a sophisticated and cosmopolitan experience. Doronin identified a need in Miami, a city constantly seeking the new, but lacking a sophisticated metropolitan club. Seia seeks to fill that void, offering a place where members can connect both professionally and socially.

The club is located on the 54th and 55th floors of 830 Brickell, and is a partnership between OKO and Bastion. Seia presents itself as a refined space that works both day and night. Members can meet for breakfast or lunch, connect for business or conversation, and then return in the evening to socialize. The goal is to create a community of like-minded individuals who are shaping the city's cultural and economic life, bringing an international perspective to the club.

The club boasts an impressive collection of contemporary art, with works by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, George Condo, Damien Hirst, Richard Prince, Anish Kapoor, and Tom Wesselmann. The staircase is adorned with works by Dennis Hopper, and Hirst's "The Human Voice" installation greets guests arriving via the members' elevator. The entry corridor features a massive Ling Pui Sze installation, and a "Pope" painting by Condo hangs near the main lounge area.

Seia plans to offer a regular series of talks and events with leaders from various sectors, including business, design, real estate, and culture. There will be artist talks, curator-led discussions, and cultural collaborations that will allow members to engage more deeply with the creative community. Seia's Italian restaurant, overseen by executive chef Salvatore Martone of The Bastion Collection, offers a high-quality gastronomic experience. A breakfast series called "Best in Class" will feature leading experts across disciplines such as finance, real estate, design, art, sports, and music. The building where Seia is located was designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, and Doronin highlighted the importance of the architecture reflecting the building's role in shaping Miami's skyline.

Doronin worked with the interior design studio Zervudachi, Roberts & Macadam to create a space that evoked a sense of timelessness and sophistication. The goal was to create an environment where architecture, craftsmanship, and atmosphere came together. The end result is a cohesive and authentic space that evolves naturally from day to night.
