Paul McCartney delivered an intimate and special concert at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, marking his return to the stage after his 'Got Back' tour. The event, which consisted of two nights, brought together a lucky group of fans in a close-knit atmosphere, with a capacity of 1,200 standing room. The concert came shortly after the announcement of his first album in five years, 'The Boys of Dungeon Lane', and the release of his first single, 'Days We Left Behind'.
The repertoire included an abridged version of his 'Got Back' tour, with 25 songs in almost two hours. McCartney paid tribute to George Harrison by performing 'Something' with a ukulele he was given, and also included an instrumental cover of 'Foxey Lady' in honor of Jimi Hendrix. In addition, he dedicated 'My Valentine' to his wife, Nancy Shevell, who was in the audience.
