One Year of Drama! Alice Haig Celebrates Explosive EastEnders Return

Actress Alice Haig, who brings Vicki Fowler to life in EastEnders, commemorated a year since her impactful return to the series. Through Instagram, she shared a series of photographs summarizing her journey since March of last year, accompanied by the message: 'CANNOT believe it’s been a YEAR since Vicki arrived on the square! What a year she’s had! Such a dream. She loves causing carnage here... and so do I! Best job!'

The character of Vicki, daughter of Michelle Fowler and the villain Dirty Den Watts, is known for her independence and tendency to manipulate. Originally played by Scarlett-Alice Johnson, Vicki left the series in 2004, but triumphantly returned in 2023, with no trace of her American accent but with the same ability to generate conflicts.

Last March, Vicki returned to Walford for her uncle Martin's funeral, accompanied by her new partner, Ross Marshall, and his son, Joel. However, family harmony did not last long due to Joel's problematic views on women.
