Acclaimed actress Laura Dern, known for her roles in the "Jurassic Park" franchise and her collaborations with director David Lynch on films such as "Blue Velvet," "Wild at Heart," and "Inland Empire," will portray Julie K. Brown in a new television series. Brown is the Miami Herald journalist who wrote "Pervasion of Justice: The Jeffrey Epstein Story." Dern will also serve as an executive producer on the project.
The news was confirmed by Brown on the social platform X, where she shared the news with the message "Some personal news." Adam McKay, known for his work as a writer and director on films such as "Anchorman" and "Vice," will produce. Sharon Hoffman, a writer for "House of Cards," will serve as an executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Eileen Myers, a writer for "Masters of Sex." Hoffman will adapt Brown's book for the screen.
