Emmerdale Star Bradley Riches Faces Heartbreak Before Wedding Day

Actor Bradley Riches, famous for his role in the series 'Emmerdale', shared the sad news of the passing of his beloved grandmother, just days before his wedding to his partner Scott Johnston. Riches, 24, who plays Lewis Barton in the popular ITV series, had announced his engagement in early 2024, following his participation in 'Celebrity Big Brother'. The news has touched his fans and colleagues in the industry.

The couple got engaged in Sorrento, Italy, and Riches shared his happiness on social media, expressing how fortunate he felt to have found someone who loved him as he is. 'I never thought I’d find someone who gets me and loves me for me. I have always struggled connecting my emotions in relationships and then @scottjohnston1.8 came. I felt safe and accepted and most importantly loved. I love you endlessly,' he wrote on his Instagram account.

Through his Instagram account, Bradley Riches shared a moving post in which he confirmed the passing of his great-grandmother. Alongside a photograph of him as a child with his relative, the actor wrote: 'Never did I think I would be saying goodbye to my Gt. Nanny just days before my wedding. Before my she passed, she told me she’d be with me on my big day... and I know she will be'.

In his message, Riches also highlighted the affection his grandmother felt for his fiancé, Scott Johnston: 'She loved Scott so much- never questioned us, just loved us fully. I will miss you every day'. He concluded his message with a simple 'See ya later love you xxx'.
