Actress Denise Richards, known for her role in 'The World Is Not Enough', has reappeared publicly after sharing the results of a facelift on social media. The 55-year-old star attended the app launch for the US series 'The Bold and the Beautiful' on Thursday in West Hollywood, California.

In an interview with Allure Magazine, Richards explained that she wanted to 'put things back up, where they were before.' She confessed to feeling 'terrified,' but motivated by her desire to maintain an image that reflected her public career.

In the interview, Richards admitted that her daughters, Sami, 22, and Lola, 20, from her marriage to actor Charlie Sheen, did not agree with the surgery. 'My oldest daughters were not happy that I was doing it,' Richards commented. 'But I think now they understand, and they see that I still look like myself.' According to the actress, her daughters were worried about the surgery in general and believed she didn't need it. Richards explained to them that it was something she wanted to do and that, although they might not agree, she hoped for their support.

A source close to the actress revealed to the Daily Mail that Richards also wanted to 'do something for herself' after her separation from her husband, Aaron Phypers. 'The divorce has really taken a toll on her in so many ways, emotionally and financially,' the source commented. 'She deserves to have a little joy in her life and her new face makes her very happy.' Richards and Phypers married in 2018, but he filed for divorce in July 2023, citing 'irreconcilable differences'.

In the context of her divorce, Richards has been ordered by a court to pay Phypers $5,000 per month in temporary spousal support, as well as $30,000 to cover his legal fees associated with the divorce.
